Import your Emails from Yahoo, Hotmail , AOL to Gmail in one click

It’s Google everywhere. Now Google has introduced a new feature in Gmail. Now you can download all emails from a non Gmail Account to your Gmail Account without using POP3/IMAP. This will be very useful for Yahoo users because Free Yahoo Mail does not offer POP3 or IMAP access. As of now this feature is only available to new Gmail users.

Now Let see how to use this....

STEP 1: Open New Gmail Account

STEP 2: Go to Settings Tab on Gmail

STEP 3: Click on Accounts and Imports and then press Import from other Address

STEP 4: Enter your email id (e.g. yahoo, AOL, HOTMAIL) and verify your password

Now your mails will be downloaded to your Gmail Account and for next one month all mails coming on the other email id will be automatically forwarded to your Gmail account.
(Please note that downloading all your mails may take upto 2 days, so be patient)

This is a great opportunity to save all your mails especially when you don’t have POP3/IMAP access. Gmail has all these features by default in free account. So you can download them to your local drive whenever you want.

As of now this facility is only available to new Gmail users.

Enjoy Google….
