IIT Ahmedabad Student arrested for Credit card Fraud Case

IITs are the most reputed Technology Institutes in India. Only those who have a brilliance can make admission in IITs. But now a brilliant student of First Year Engineering of IIT, 18 year old ,Aashish Ravindranathan has used his brilliance in some other way. He has been caught by Ahmedabad Crime Branch for a Credit Card Fraud case.

According to reports published in Economic Times website, he has done a fraud of 6.5 Lakhs in just six months. Acting as a bank executive, he got credit card details from customers and used them to book air tickets and buy laptops. He has contracted with a travel agent to cancel these tickets and get the amount, Lapops he has sold across the country in cheaper price.
