I remember when Google Launched Google Indic Transliteration Two years back, there was a flurry of Hindi Scraps and Emails. But now you can use the same feature directly in any website without going on Google Indic Transliteration Website.
Google has launched Transliteration Bookmarklet for Arabic, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telgu. This feature will allow you to type in Hindi, Arabic, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telgu in any text box on any web-site of your choice. It works on Google web-sites as well as other web-sites. Actually Transliteration bookmarklet is a small piece of code that you store in your browser. It offers an option for converting English characters to the characters used in Hindi, Arabic, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telgu. Note that this is not the same as translation - it is the sound of the words that are converted from one alphabet to the other, not their meaning. For example, typing "Namaste" transliterates into Hindi as "नमस्ते "
To use this service you need to follow few one time simple steps and then you are ready to go..
