How to Enable/disable Task Manager in Windows

Last week one of my friend has asked me, How to enable TASK Manager in his PC. Whenever he is trying to open task manager, System was giving an error message that "Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator"

First Lets see How to Disable Task Manager in your System

STEP 1: Go to Run command (Window key+R) or Start >> Run
STEP 2: Type regedit and press enter
STEP 3: Now goto the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Policies >> System
STEP 4: Now goto Edit >> New >> String Value
STEP 5: Type DisableTaskMgr in name field and 1 in value

DONE

Now you can exit Registry Editor... Now Give a try to open your TASK Manager. System will show a message "Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator"

Now Lets see How to again Enable your Task Manager

STEP 1: Go to Run command (Window key+R) or Start >> Run
STEP 2: Type regedit and press enter
STEP 3: Now goto the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Policies >> System
STEP 4: Delete the key named as DisableTaskMgr and Exit Registry Editor

DONE

Now You can again run your Task Manager
